Digital music services company, Kobalt has relocated to a 40,000 sq ft office at The River Building in central London. The team at Kobalt have used their move to become more agile, allowing them the opportunity to expand within their space.

Taking Kobalt’s brand values of ‘honest, simple and humble’, the design team at BDG created a new office that marries the music company's creative and technical teams and allows for agile working through a range of flexible spaces. The new workspace projects the ‘future of music’ to Kobalt’s visitors, staff, clients and artists, with branding that transcends throughout the space.
We provided the complete furniture package for the space, working closely with BDG to select appropriate pieces for a wide range of settings, from meeting rooms and collaboration areas, to the reception area, desking and a flexible cafe and events space, which provides an area for artists to perform gigs with the amazing Thames river views as a backdrop. Bringing together the old and the new, we sourced beautiful contract-standard vintage pieces for a variety of settings.
