Inspired by local surrounds
Florence Dock’s design aesthetic and vision, created by Atypical Practice and delivered by KKA Interiors is centered around community and connection, taking inspiration from the building’s context and local surroundings.
The design seamlessly integrates materials such as weathered wood, reclaimed brick, and reflective glass into the structure, drawing from the natural elements along the River Thames. Collaborating closely with architecture and interior experts Atypical Practice, our team extended this approach to the FF&E, emphasising natural materials, tactile fabrics and warmer tones to craft comfortable and inviting spaces for residents to enjoy.
Inviting spaces for all to enjoy
The amenities were meticulously designed to reflect Folk’s core brand values: Connection, Convenience, Comfort, and Contribution. In close collaboration with the client and Atypical Practice, we sourced products and materials that aligned with the project vision across various areas including the private dining room, lounges, shared kitchens, gaming room, coworking spaces, and five rooftop terraces. The aim was to foster a sense of community among residents while ensuring that the spaces remained flexible and adaptable to diverse needs, including hosting events.
