This year's Milan Design Week was as inspiring as ever, with hundreds of collaborations, installations and product launches to explore. The theme, Laboratorio Futuro, challenged brands and designers to investigate the experimental dimension of design as well as its capacity as a tool for collective action. There was an enduring focus on efforts towards a more sustainable, responsible design industry with an emphasis on materiality.
