Changes to TFP's Board of Directors
We’re delighted to announce two exciting changes to our Board of Directors, including the creation of an important new role at TFP.
Martin Stocks - Sales Director
With over 30 years of experience in the commercial furniture industry, Martin Stocks assumes the role of TFP Sales Director. Having founded and managed several furniture companies and entrepreneurial ventures during his extensive career, Martin will lead the TFP sales teams, across our UK offices in London, Manchester, and Glasgow, as well as international teams in New York and Paris. Martin previously held the role of Founder and Partner of London-based furniture consultants Operandum for 11 years, prior to TFP’s acquisition of Operandum in January 2022. He brings a wealth of knowledge and specialist expertise in delivering major furniture projects across the complete range of sectors in which TFP operates, including workplace, commercial, build to rent and hospitality.
“Matt and the TFP management have built an exceptional team of furniture specialists, and I’m very excited to see TFP’s portfolio of clients expanding both in the UK and internationally. But what really excites me about this role is the matching of TFP’s goals and my own – we are aiming to achieve extremely ambitious targets as a leading international furniture specialist and I very much look forward to driving our next phase of growth, innovation and industry leadership.”
Matt Davies – Director of Sustainability
With over 30 years of furniture consultancy experience including 19 years as TFP’s Sales Director, Matt Davies assumes the newly-created role of Director of Sustainability. As well as driving TFP’s own environmental and sustainability targets, Matt will play a pivotal role in our commitment to helping clients, designers and professional teams build a more complete understanding of the lifecycle climate impact of furniture decisions on projects. Matt’s depth of supply chain knowledge and extensive expertise in delivering complex projects to meet a range of sustainability accreditations and broader client ESG targets, will be a key asset in the further development of TFP’s sustainability programme and offering to our clients.
"Sustainability is rapidly gaining the attention and focus of many of our clients – as a furniture specialist we recognise our responsibility to provide the tools and expertise to help clients understand and limit the climate impact of furniture decisions on projects. This is a challenging and exciting time in the industry and I look forward to working together with TFP's clients, designers and project teams to drive positive change through continued innovation and knowledge sharing."
